    interchangeability of gas tank & seat b/w 200M &200S

I have an '84 atc200M & was thinking of buying an '84 200S for parts. I only need the seat & gas tank, so my question is would the seat & gas tank from the 200S fit on the 200M? Without drilling/welding.

go to an aftermarket plastic tank site and type in your tank and a 200s tank, they will usually say what models they fit and that will help answer your part swap question. i thought the 200m seat came off the fender separate from the fenders and the 200s is attached to the fender. i'm not 100% on that though, been awhile since i've seen one

Thanks, I did a search & the plastic ones say they fit both the 200S & 200M, but I decided to get my old tank fixed instead.

OEM 200m and 200s Tanks are different. The only reason the Plastic tanks might be inner changeable is that the plastic will flex some.
