    gettin' back in the game!

Hey guys, been away for a while. Moved from Newfoundland to British columbia to start my career as a commercial transport technician. Been at it for almost a year now and loving every minute of it. My trikes are still home in NL, but I'm looking at a 250 big red tomorrow that I think I can get for pretty cheap. Good to be back

Not driver, mechanic. They discourage using the word mechanic though because most people have mechanics pegged so low. (Which is insane). I work in a fleet shop. Mostly peterbilts and kenworths. Our company runs tank trucks, vac trucks, hydro vacs, hot oilers, steamers, etc.

Thanks guys! I took a look at it today and its worth picking up. I just need to make sure my pickup isn't going to blow up again first lol. It's an 85 250es, and fairly untouched. All the bearings are good, frame is clean, shocks are good, no oil leaks. Comes with an almost complete parts bike as well. The only things it really needs are back brakes and a tune-up. Should be a solid daily driver

Picked it up this morning, washed it, adjusted valves, fixed shift lever and adjusted throttle/brakes. Has a noise in the engine that I'm not worried about yet. Loose timing chain is my guess. Pics soon
