    85' Tecate restoration!

I just recently tore my 85' T3 apart for some restoration. A clutch change turned into a restoration. It was running fine! Upon taking the head off I noticed that the piston is sliding back and forth on the wrist pin. It moves ALOT! There isn't any play in the up and down on the wrist pin. Is this side to side play normal?

Did you install the C Clips on both side of the wrist pin?

Yah they are there. Just seems like alot of movement. Piston is sliding on the wrist pin, pin isn't moving.

It should move left to right, but not much at all. Maybe a 1/10 inch both ways.
