    on the frame i used duplicolor brake caliper paint and on the engine i used duplicolor engine enamal with primer and clear coat..

    freshly rebuilt top end, new clutch, boyesen reeds, dg pipe and silencer, k and n air filter.. thats about it for the engine mods..

    i like that dg cool head.. those things are kinda hard to get your hands on.. ive always liked the rear drum brake on the 81 being that its exclusive to the year, kinda unique.. lookin good man!

    Yours looks realy good. I love the first gen as much as the third.I have the three odd years 81,83 and 85.I have a 82 converted to a quad with a quadsport front end.It was tweaked.So I gave it new life.I started putting it back together.

    BTW, in case you're interested...I have a stock exhaust for the 82 250R, excellent condition as well as a couple of other small parts. Just haven't gotten around to listing them in the classifieds. PM me if you're interested.

    the triple tree and forks are off of a 1985 200x.. i have a stock pipe and silencer and an aftermarket dg pipe and silencer but thank you for asking man..
