89 kx 80 rear brake caliper

I bought one off of ebay and the pads do not open enough to get over the rotor. I do not have the line hooked up, am I missing something. I am not sure if there is an adjustment on them or not. Can someone adivse???
Also, do I just use the 200x bracket instead of the kx one. My X did not have the front caliper bracket and the guy had something rigged up that would not function. I just want to make sure before I get the bracket.

push the piston in enough for the pads to go over the rotor. don't push it in all the way or it won't bleed out.
