    If you're not going to use it, I'd be ineterested in that rear sprocket you didn't use...let me know. I'd rather help out a member here....

    That's what im trying to explain , the most of the time isn't enough to remove the drum , its the heat and penetrating fluid thats going to loosen it , but you might get luck and it will come right off . A cheap Home Depot plumbers torch will do the job but see if you can remove it first .
    EBay bearings are fine .

    That looks like the 82 big red and plain old atc200 rear end to me. my 83 bigred had the new sprocket type you shown in one of those pics. i second the hard to remove brake drum!

    Well it was a lot easier than I expected. I had to buy a bigger crescent wrench but it all came right off. I sprayed everything down last night with wd-40 and had no problems. Now I need new bearings and rear brakes. I think the front bearings need replacing too. I will have to search how to do that next. Thanks guys for all the input and advice.
