    just a minute too late

    was getting gas yesterday and the guy working at the station told me about a 200? Chevy pick-up (tree had fallen on rightside bedrail) at one of these local cash advance places for $795 OBO! took off to go check it out and it wasn't there. so i went back to tell the guy and his wife was leaving right as i got there. he said she thought it looked good, so it was there just a few minutes before because she had been looking at it. i figure it wasn't even 3-4mins max between either of us being there. dang it.

    i could've got a new bed for it and just resold it for a nice profit to fund a proper restore on the 74. oh well, maybe next time.

    I had one of those on a pretty much brand new Chev. It was an 2010 and only the bed had been damaged. They were only wanting 3,000 for the whole truck and I found a new bed for $900. On my way to get it and they sold it out from under me...
