Yamaha 200ERN Axle.. Anyway to widen or switch out for different one..Pics of project

Working on a golf cart project i just picked up and i need to know if there is any way to widen the rear axle of a yamaha 200 ERN shaft drive, Or can i switch it out for a different axle? I need at least 3 inches per side would love to have 4 inches per side..I want to stay with the Shaft Drive.. I think i can switch to Banshee hubs and use wheels from a banshee which i maybe able to get a couple inches each side.. But i would love to use a banshee axle which should give me around what i need.. Reason being is next winter i am gonna try to redo the front of the cart with banshee or YZF450 A arms and shocks..


Here is some Pics of the project as it sits now... As you can see the rear end is way to narrow compared to the front..

yes .. banshee,,yfz ,warrior, raptor, hubs will go on that axle,,, I run these.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tusk-Extende...a32976&vxp=mtr you will have to run 4/115 bolt pattern ..find some off set wheels and you could get another 2"

blaster and tri-z hubs will work also,, but there a 4/100 rim..

Thanks Bryan that is what i figured i would have to do... I wish i would of saved all of my old Banshee parts when i moved instead of selling them now hahaha.. How do you like them Hubs? it looks like a good price and not very much more then what stock hubs cost..

If I had a hogger I could make these axles all day long or a shaper but I have neither of which. I could extend them as well but like I said I have neither.
