13 tooth front sprocket on 84 200x question

What are the gains of an extra tooth compared to the 12 tooth oem and is it worth it. Does it require any other changes? thanks for any help.

Gains are a little more top end speed and possible less shifting on trail riding .

also you will need a longer chain

i thought a smaller sprocket would make it go faster and a bigger sprocket makes it slower on topend and faster on take off????

More teeth on the front sprocket and less on the rear = more top end, less torque...
