I've been ridin trikes since '84.

Quads are so stable that they are boring compared to any trike. The fact that trikes require more body english to properly ride is what makes the difference to me. I don't dislike quads but anyone can ride one over most terrain. Not everyone can ride a trike fast over tough terrain or tracks.
But who am I, but anther punk on a R. Right manny.

REDMAN225: I agree with you 100%, they were the thing to have when we were young. I first rode one at age 8 or 9 and had my first (1973 ATC70) at 10. There is no better way to relive your youth!

Remember if you can ride on 3 you can ride anything!

I think its a combination of things.

First, I also grew up in the 80's and love 3 wheelers. They were all I thought about from 1982 to 1985 - 86. That was from age 10 to about 15. When I see my Tri Z I guess it brings back my youth a bit and the innocent passion that is three wheeling.

I also have a quad and a motocross bike...but last weekend it hit me when I rode my Tri Z really for the first time....

Three wheelers are much more fun than a quad and to me more fun than a dirt bike because you can slide them. Really they are the best of both worlds...

When I see a mint bike it makes me feel like the child in me is still alive and that part of my history is not lost...

If I see a ragged out broken down trike I think perhaps its time to grow up...and thats why I keep my Z really clean...cause I don't want to grow up!

I already became an attorney and business owner...now I want to play!!

Same story here. When people seem surprised when they find out im into trikes, I tell em like it is. "when I was 15 I woulda killed for all these trikes brand new, but I didnt have a JOB! well, now I have a job, and can have all the trikes I want!" I also throw in the "just because they dont make them new anymore, doesnt mean I have to give up on them, I'm no quitter!" they seem to just nod approvingly at that!

My dad had atc's when the first ATC 90 came out. him and his buddies all got one ,then he got a 110,then a 185s,. I rode them all after school. He used them to ride to his everglades camp when the water was down. Or his tree stand when hunting. The rest of the year they were mine. Then I got a CR80R around 83/84. Then Christmas day 1985 there was a brand new Honda ATC 250SX. It was my dream bike for the camp, but my I liked to go fast Then my riding buddy was gonna move up from racing a 200X to a 250R so I bought and raced the 200x. My dad then got a brand new 1986 Big Red for the camp. At that time we had the 3 trikes. Then high school came so away with the 3 wheelers and I bought a Nissan truck that I customized for shows. After high school I started going back to the woods and 3 friends had a 200X, Yamaha 225 and a 200s. Then other things came up ,I sold my 200x for a retainer on a Lawyer. A few years went by and my buddy that had the 225 bought a sweet 350X and I got the bug and since I was a little kid I remember sitting on that brand New 250R at Honda West my local dealer and saying I want this one, and the guy saying that I was not ready for that one... Well I am sure as hell ready now. So now I had to fully restore a 250R like brand new. Because that is what I always wanted a BRAND NEW 250R .......... and now I have one. It took 18 years but I finally got it.
I would rather have a sister in a whorehouse, than a brother with a quad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still walking the "Tightrope"

well, i was litterally just out 4 wheelin on my 250 polaris, man, the thing is slow! my 200X would kill it, and the tires on the polaris suck trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro so the stuff i went through was only very little, i got stuck twice, but everything else i made it through, i am keepin the trike for the winter, and then i am going to try and see if i can somehow get the parents convinced for me to keep it, i dont care if i have to build a little shack to keep it in!! my mom is bound and bet that its going, my dad says it should go, but i sure as hell dont want it to!

I LOVE MY 3 WHEELER!! DONT LET ANYONE ELSE TELL YOU DIFFERENT!!!
