    Yamaha's Two-Wheeled Three Wheeler

Can it achieve honorary Three Wheeler status? They disappeared in the same year, use the same tires and have a lot of the same parts. It's the 2/3 of a wheeler.

Sorry about all of the silly snowmachines. They're a fact of life up here.

    Regards,

I for one believe the Yamaha Big Wheel/Honda Fat Cat belong on in the '3wheeler' category..

Since I have bought/owned/sold just about every 3 wheeler (not polaris or kawasaki..just a choice, sorry guys) my next thing on the "machines to own" list are one of these two elusive animals.

That and a Yeti snow kit!!

I have a BW80. Not near the power as the 200's and 350's, but still very cool.

Man! You keep posting those cool vids and as far as I'm concerned you can call your pogo stick a three wheeler and I won't argue. In this case let’s just think of your BW as a 3 wheel amputee.

Cool Vid.I could be wrong but I think yamaha was the only company to "experiment" with different machines back in the 80's. Tri-Z(airbox/gas tank switcharoo) the BigWheel series(I know honda had the fatcat and the cub),maybe the first monoshock, the sno scoots, and thier ss440 snowmobile was a few yrs ahead of its time.Wish I still had my 1980 ss440.Yamaha made some nice jetski's in the 80's too but i think they were competing with kawasaki. 80's=Best darn decade ever!
....also the banshee was the only 2 cyl race quad ever produced, although sometimes I feel the 250r was still a bit better. Raptor 660 started a whole new race of quads too.
