I picked up 2 yamaha 200's for 50$. But they were black instead of yellow..lol..One cleaned up alright and in resto phase now...$425$ wow!!!he could of easily got 600 a piece!!!

Finally got to start on these today. Got the 200 running great. No gas or oil in it...not sure why. Put both in, cleaned carb (not bad at all), charged battery and fired like a dream!
Started in on the 225; cleaned carb twice but still idles too low to keep it running without playing with throttle. I've tried adjusting the fuel/air screw and the jet on the bottom of the carb...am I missing something? I now plan to review the manual for a while... Has fresh gas, new fuel lines, and new spark plug.

did you adjust the idle screw?? all other screws dont usualy do much for idleing issues.

Got them both running like champs, had fun for a month, then sold them... They went to a guy and his 15 year old son. Couldn't be happier with who got them, so I hope they enjoy!
