Factory racing team green tecate 250??

I know a guy that has one that was raced. It has a factory klemm research tecate. It has cal-fab swing arm,Ram hydrolic steering, Everything. He has the doumentation on it. He raced it. He had a tiger 250 that he thought was'nt worth anything.. i told him he was crazy.. He says there junk. HOw much do you think his tecate would be worth.. i might pay him decent for it.??

get the tecate you will not regret it . never listen to someone who goes by the name honda and has a polaris and yamaha. TECATES RULE and that is the bottom line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you guys, he didnt ask for any of the stuff you said, he said how much could it be worth........i would say it would be worth at least a decent amount, it sounds like it has some serious mods, i know some of real nice 86/87 tecates go for around 1500, what year is the one he has? I think and machine would be cool to own, the tiger is rare, and the t3 sounds like it has some really cool rare racer mods.

sorry i didnt mention a price, i think maybe with the cool mods like 84ATC250R mentioned, then it should go pretty good, maybe 2K? but, i would honestly buy the tiger, you could always sell it for alot more then you bought it wink

Yah, From what he was telling me, the T3 has 2 races on it, The engine mods were done by some huge national builder back then,and the thing is all decked out.He sold the tiger for pennies thinking it was worth nothing. He didnt like the rotax that much he said. To him it was " junk" which i know it would be a dream come true for yall to find a tiger 250. He said it was all decked out too. He had a tri-z 250 engine he just pretty much gave away, not thinking it was worth anything. He thought everyone hated 3 wheelers these days..and when i showed him this site he was surprised to see all these 3 wheeler fanatics around. He has 2 89 trx-250R's laying around in pieces also. they just need to be put together. Also an old jetboat with a worked up 454 in it. My dad was interested in that. he sold hhis about 10 years ago and i talked him into maybe trying to get another one. But i would love to try and buy one of those 250's off of him, but im gona talk to him tomorow and let you guys know. He said he will be willing to sell the T3 if any of you are interested..hes bringing me pics tomm. Ill try and post them.

For a tricked-out racer I'd easily pay $1500 to $2000 if it's in great shape. It sounds like you can get it for even less, so go for it.
