Is there a cheap way? lol If you know someone that lives close to the border and can cross the boarder to pick it up / drop it off to someone on the other side and then ship it from a Canada address would probably be cheapest, but would be more work.

A 450cc water cooled 4 stroker costs my customers about 85 to ship from NYC to Houston via UPS in a wooden crate. So I would say you got a great deal lol

I don't think you are with the thread Kasey, it's about US to Canada not US to US!!

'sx250heath' since driving to the US to get it is out of the question for you as Howdy suggested..though that is definitely a great idea, your seller will just have to call shippers local to him for best rates.

If he crates it properly he will get a decent rate, if he just pallets it and ships it most carriers will charge an 'irregular freight' surcharge. So this is the most important thing. As far as shipping an engine, nothing special about it..it isn't a vehicle or dangerous goods so no special process is required..

It may not be cheap though!!

I was replying to the following quote, Gomer said he "thought" he got a good deal. Which is why I said, "I would say you got a good deal."
