Exclamation Do 350x front tires not pop when you try to bead them up?

Im trying to get my new Kenda on my stock 350x wheel. I have it on and it took air and looks seated correctly but I never heard the trademark pop when it went on. Are the front wheels on these things made different?

I let all the air out and pressed down on the tire and it seems like its on good. I pumped it up real tight with air and let it sit in the sun. Whats goin on with it? I would hate to knock it off the bead riding if its not on correctly.

I went ahead and broke it down again. It was on the bead. This time I did get a pop out of it so that puts my mind at ease.

I just had a double pop on an sx.
The first pop made me smile after 2 hrs of dismount and wrestling match.

The tire popped on and then.........
a rust plug Ka Powed out of the rim and hit the roof.

about the size of a pencil eraser and the weight of a .22
guessing 2-300 feet per second from the dent in the roof.
Had to be at least as fast as a BB

Can't be too careful, it seems.

Nice to see these "death machines" can keep coming up with new and creative ways of killing us.
