    200X Head Gasket!!

    I am doing a topend rebuild on ly '83 200X. I am assuming that it has never been apart before because some of the bolts were really hard to budge. Now I am at the point to remove the head after I have removed the cam sprocket, CDI, and the cam but I can not get the head off. All of the bolts are out but it still wont buge. I have trired a mallet, heating it with a blowdryer but that was no help. How does everyone get these apart???

    did you get that one phillips long screw that is by the plug area?

    Yes I got that bolt out. It is on the opposite side of the head than the spark plug...

    gotta use a WIDE blade scraper and be careful
    go from one end then other etc.

    O I will give it a try. Those headgaskets are sure hard to seperate.
