i took my rear shock in to get rebuilt and valved. the guy tells me he will build it with a little better rebound control and really work on the dampening end of things. i have a little some thing else planned for the rear suspension not sure if it will work so im keeping it under raps for now. may be its already been done but i have not read or heard of it being done yet.

dam i hope it works out

i got my shock back from the builders today. it got a full rebuild and some valving work to help with the dampening, but he did not do to much with the rebound. also made some other changes to it. here is a pic

i guess no one saw in the pic that i had a 350x res with an adjustable dampening control installed on the 200x shock. not sure if any one has tried this, or if it will make any significant difference in the ride.

i just had my first ride. backed the hd spring off quite a bit and let the shock do the work and not the spring. i have the dampening control set right in the middle and it has a nice soft ride, and after a few small jumps has not bottomed out. the rebound is set on the 3rd notch, i wish i had him do more with rebound after some of the bigger bumps in the trail i found my ass a couple inches off of the seat. all and all im pretty happy with it.
