1984 kawasaki tecate no spark

So had to replace the stator plate because it was cracked...the wiring was a mess so I cleaned it up and it started for about 30 seconds and then quit and no spark at all. It has the Ricky stator 80w and regulator for the light. I swapped out the ignition coil and cdi box and still nothing. I put stock ignition stator coils and nothing. What's up with this thing I even went through the wires and sanded the grounds. Then i bought an electrosport stator that is for kx125 and 250 83-xx and the plate didn't fit and the large coil rubbed on the flywheel. I want to light it on fire. Can somebody help me or is there a wiring diagram out there?

the stock and the ricky coils are wired slightly different,so that may be an issue. the kx plate itself will bolt right up but is completly different and can only be used with the kx flywheel and cdi. you should be able to find a free manual here http://www.oscarmayer.net/atc/manuals/
