    Question 200x rear sprocket loose?

hi. i have an 83 200x that i love and try to keep in great shape, but one thing i have not been able to fix is my rear sprocket. when the atc is stationary, i can rotate the sprocket about 1/4 in. forward and back without the axle moving, like its slipping on the spline. have you ever encountered this before and what can i do (without replacing the whole axle) to fix this?

Also, since im new to 3 wheelers, i was wondering how hard it is to retune the carb since i got a supertraap exhaust.

they are supose to move but not that much. nothing you can really do. ive seen people weld them to axles, then you screw it all up. cheap fix find a newer not as used one from ebay. very nice fix 82 250r axle swap. the 200x just had some odd designs that didnt stand the test of hard time.

there are other ways you can go to fix this, but it will require you to spend more then what you prob spend for your entire trike. if you have endless money then id say PM me for details.
