    Air cooled ATC250R crank seals

I'm wanting to do crank seals on my 84 250R and have a few questions. First is there a manual I can down load anywhere? I tired the Honda manual section on this site and the only bike there was 350x, unless theres another area. And I tried on .org, I found the manual but it wouldn't let me down load.
Just looking at it, it looks like I might have to pull the engine to get the clutch side apart? Is that right? That would suck. lol. Maybe I can just leave the swing arm bolt in and pivot the engine back?
And also where is a good place to buy new seals? I'm looking for new ones, not never used 20 year old dried up seals. Any other suggestions are appriciated.

When I got the bike it had brand new 22 inch shredders on back. I really don't like 22 inch tires on sport model ATV's. My 85 250R came with a extra set of air cooled 250R wheels and new 18 inch turf tamers so I put those on immidiately. I like the look a lot more but its just geared to low like that so yesterday I put the 22s back it. It pulls much better. I've also got a jeswinehart 250R chain slider (missing) and Tecate boot (mine is fine but just incase) on the way. I'm getting a translucent red boot. Sweet.

I too would like to know this, I'm doing a refresher on my '84R right now as well.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

I've been reserching since I posted and I found that Honda still sells the seals and they are only $8 and $13 each from Dillon Brothers Honda. I can't seem to find a gasket though, might have to silicone it.

The engine will have to come out.I just rebuilt a 84 250r motor and put a 300r top end on it. I changed the crank bearings as well.I got a after market kit from bikerchick on ebay both bearings and seals ..And a complete gasket kit from honda it was a Vesrah.

If your doing the crank bearings, may as well go with the cr500 as they are an 8 ball rather than the 7 ball stock 250r. little upgrade
