    High comp piston Atc 70

Ok so I just did a hot cam and bigger 20mm carb on my 81 Atc 70 with full exhaust Livy it but I lost low end. Do they make high comp pistons for these things? I see that stock size is 47mm dratv has some that go to 48mm just not sure if that good or if that for a stock jug he dosnt respond to emails. Any help from u all would be great thanks.

I would go with a big bore from DRATV. It comes with high compression piston, cylinder, rings and gaskets for around $110. Its 88cc. I've got one on an XL70, it makes a huge difference.

Maybe I'm thinking to much on bike bikes where u can do a high comp piston in a stock cyl with no bore requires and u can't do that to these lil guys unless Simone tells me other wise?

i'm not sure about the piston really, but i would imagine there is one out there.
all else fails you can deck? the head, i think that's the right term. milling a little off would take away a bit of the chamber size giving you more compression and later you could maybe add a spacer back onto it to get it back to stock if wanted.
just an idea, but hardly the best solution.

I have to tell you, if you think you can just "slap" in a piston and have better performance, then you get what you pay for. Performance comes from a harmonius balance of filter, intake, carb, piston, head mods and exhaust. Without all those items, your performance from hack and slap mods, will be slight. You get what you pay for. Best of luck.

Just put in a Lifan and be done with it, it's a lot cheaper. If you want to go back to stock for some reason just keep your motor
