For most 4 stroke applications race fuel is not required.
However, hi performance 2 strokes love it..Not that AV gas either..They dont like that stuff.
110 Leaded race fuel is a benefit these days since the quality of premium pump gas has gone way down. 2 strokes love at least 93 octane, but the crap you get at the pump is hardly that rating at a constant level.
Plus 110 leaded fuel actually helps lube the top end and crank bearings. You do feel a difference in a mildly built Hi performance 2 stroke.
Also another thing to keep in mind is leaded hi octane fuel does not burn well at low temps.
I run at least a 50 50 mix of premium pump and 110 in all my 2 strokes except the banshee since they are low compression engines.
Dont get me wrong most 2 strokes run okay on 93 pump gas, but if it is available and you can afford it 110 is worth it IMO.
