    help on 250r

    i want to buy this 250r but the guy said "the rear axle moves enough that I beleave the rear axle bearings need replaced." do you think that is the
    problem with the axle moving or do you think it is something else also i am getting this three wheeler for about 250 is that a good deal he said runs great starts 1st or second kick
    1985 atc 70 (sold)
    1985 200x dg pipe and k&N filter
    need rear brake caliper for 200x

    What year is the 250R? I think if the axle really moves a lot, it could either be the bearings, or the chain tensioners or both. If the chain tensioner bolts get striped, the rear end will move a LOT. I would be sure to check the chain tensioners on both sides. They are fairly inexpensive to buy, and you can get them on ebay.

    It does sound like the bearings.
    The bearings and seals are fairly cheap from Dennis Kirk or your local bearing shop.
