Always liked the styling of the 200S, great example. Couple buddies of mine had the older 185S versions, fun, lightweight trikes like the 200S, nice!

Thanks! I agree with you, I like the looks also, cannot wait to ride it...

Well I FINALLY got my pair of new OHTSU rear tires, only 18 days after I ordered them!

I was in the process of cancelling the order this morning with Beatrice Cycles to get my funds back & the tries showed up. I had emailed them since the 25th as the manual I ordered was delivered then & the tires had the same tracking number but no tires came, I was thinking they were lost. They never answered any of my many emails. Nor did they give me the updated tracking number when they finally decided to ship 'em 11 days after I bought them.

Anyway, felt like venting, they potentially ruined a good business relationship with me over this even tho it has never happened before. It should never happen.

OK, Beatrice Cycles just redeemed themselves by contacting me, apologizing & made an offer to help with their mistakes... They will continue to have my business! That is the way businesses are supposed to treat regular customers. Thanks Jack!

He is not real fast at returning messages either, but it is well worth it when he does.

Yea no kidding, didn't respond once untill I told him (after I finally got the tires) again what happened & that maybe in the future they should change their ways & communicate a bit better. Seemed to have stirred something up! LOL

Thanks! I finally got the tires mounted, installed last nite & went riding! This thing is incredibly solid, not a single rattle & everything feels new. The OHTSU tires are fantastic, tons of grip. I am loving it but not as much as my 3 year old daughter. She woke up this morning & walked up to me & did the hand movement of pull starting the ATC! Hilarious, she wants nothing more than to go & go FAST!

The only issue I have found is the headlight is not nearly bright enough & it is backfiring when letting off the throttle. Any ideas on either as far as solutions? The exhaust looks new so no holes....

    Here are a few photos.

Could it be running too lean as far as the cause of the backfiring?

How would I go about adding maybe a pair of extra lights? How do I wire it & what would be a good light to use?

Gonna be tough to add lights because the stock stator does not put out enough power for anything more than the 45w bulb that you have in there. I checked RM Stator and they don't offer a pumped up coil for the Honda 200 engines. Ricky Stator has one for the 200X but it may work for your 200s. Those engines were very similar. Call them and ask if their 75w 200x stator will work for your bike. Price is reasonable at $40.

Thanks Much bslama69, I will contact them to see. This is perfect if it works! We live in remote NM and it gets so dark here for most of the year & even with some moonshine last night it is just to hard to see well enough to ride with any speed.... I even considered the LED mountain bike light sets.

Huh, just found these 6 & 10 light LED headlights... Expensive but do not require a different stator or rewire...

Always full of questions... Any suggestions on a simple way to lock this bike up when not in use? I hate having to leave it when I am out of town without a lock, too easy to steal - not that we have any crime but still... Am looking for something that will not damage it like a chain might & will fit in the storage compartment in the back.... Any ideas?

I have to admit I AM ADDICTED to these old Hondas!

This is an absolute blast to ride & I am amazed at how quick & fast this thing really is....Anyone know the average top speed of the 200s?
