Hello everyone. I just picked up a used 1982 or 1983 previous owner was not sure and I found this site while trying to figure it out. So anyone have any easy way to tell what year my 185s is? I live in Walworth, NY but am originally from the Buffalo area. Can anyone tell me what the shift pattern is for the 185s? Also can anyone recomend any sites for parts? I want to get an exhaust asap, but am curious as to what my options are and what everyone recommends...

First let me welcome you to the list. On the front page of the 3wheelerworld.com site is a link to decode your vin number to get your model year. Hopefully you still have the vin plate on the fork tube. And I beleave the 185 is the same shift pattern as my 200, neutral is all the way up and 5 down. But don't quote me on that one. Again, welcome and just ask away, a lot of great folks here. Lot of the are off at trikefest in Indiana so the site is a little quieter than normal. Maybe next year ill plan to attend as well.
