The camo on there will be a pain to get off but think - if they are oem fenders, the camo will have been acting as a protectant. I feel yah, my gut says go that way too, but then I don't know the value of the quad conversion kit and the cool factor has me stuck a bit. I may be able to sell it after I get the 85 to cover some of the cost of the 85...if it wasn't for that I'd be all over the 86. Camo paint job or not!
