1980 atc 110 backfires

runs great at proper idle. give any throttle and it backfires through the carb and the exhaust. set to an idle that is too fast and it will take throttle with little issue. allready took carb apart and cleaned all jets etc with carb cleaner and compressed air. any ideas where to next? this machine has points. thanks

thanks for a the help guys. adjusted the timing through the stator plate. runs like a champ now.

I think the points 110s have a spark advance plate under the points that can get stuck
or little springs that can break too.
It wants to rotate a little and snap back
