    350X -Rusty plug

I parked the 85'350X in the garage last fall and pulled it out the other day. I do my usual check up and maintainance and noticed the spark plug was rusty on the tip. It is a new plug from last summer. So it tells me I either have water in the fuel or maybe the exhaust from washing it or possibly both.
The last day I rode it,it rained that day and I washed my ride after a really muddy ride.
I added fresh fuel and cleaned the plug and it fired right up.
Just wondering if it might have been from the wash or the fuel?
I've never had a rusty plug.
