Most just pay $20 bucks or so for a new yamaha big bear or banshee petcock.

Pretty sure fabiodriven gave me a banshee petcock and it works great but you need to grind down the brass plugs in the tank so it will sit flush or it will leak

I did the big bear one and didn't have to do any tank mods to get it to seal. It's probably just a difference in tanks though.
