u can buy an HRC race kit for the TRX for less then $400. all pretty simple bolt on stuff, keeps full factory warranty and is a true 50 hp. its awesome.

Keep in mind that if you buy the TRX you are getting a quad that hasn't been updated in 9 years. Yes there have been some small changes, but nothing very significant, however it is still a good machine. Maybe try and find a 2009 leftover for some savings. The YFZ has more features (adjustable bars,wave rotors,etc)and has EFI, if I were to upgrade from my 05 I would get one. And I must say after spending last weekend at the dunes on a 2007 LT450R (my sisters), that its a nice, comfortable, very fast machine also, the downfall............... its a Suzuki.
