Look at the rear hubs on the prototype. Do they look like the stock size?? I have a smaller set just like them, I thought they were a different brand, but it looks like the prototype pattern. Did I miss a factory change?

I always thought they were 84 Hubs. The rims are some 8" or 9" I guess.

They are 9" as the brochure back clearly states! .

On the prototype you can see the adjustable rear strut linkage on the swinger, would that fit an 85?

JEB.... I have the same hubs on 1 of my 86T3s. They still run 10 in rims. I have not found another w/ the different bolt pattern.
Has anyone else came across this style of hub/rim on a T3??

Yeah, 84 hubs wont fit 86 unless your 86 is running an 84/85 carrier and axle. To run a 10" rim on 84 hubs of course requires an 84 replacement rim.

I know Dura Blue made some smaller hubs for the 86. Perhaps other companies did also.

LOL, I agree. The set up I have is not 84 bolt pattern, it is not 85,6,7 either. They are 86/7 splined for the axle. The rims are a 10 in rim w/ that wave like center, that comes in for the bolt hole. The hubs are a complete circle. I need to measure to see what the stud spacing is.

the 87 t3 has a twist throttle as displayed in the brochure.

    This is my trike.
There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My trike is my best friend.
It is my life. I must master it, as I must master my life.
Without me my trike is useless.
Without my trike, I am useless.
I must roost faster than my enemy who is trying to beat me to the finish.
I must beat him before he beats me.
Before God I swear this creed.
My trike and myself are defenders of track.
We are the masters of keeping quads the losers.
So be it ... until there is no quad left.
