    350x idle problem

i cannot get my 350x to idle correctly...let me tell you first this bike is a no choke one kicker everytime...but it dies almost every time i let it idle...once i ride it for like an hour or more it seems like it will stay running at idle then..but then while it is idleing it will randomly idle up for 15 to 30 second idle back down then idle good for a few minutes then do it again...what gives? what should i check ive already cleaned the carb completely.. any other ideas? ive never ran into a problem like this

Sounds like you have a leak around the intake. Carb spray around the intake(between carb and motor) while it is running and see if it fluctuates.
Does it idle down right away or does it take a bit?

    I could be way off:

But, any cold engine needs a hair more gas. Which is why a need a full choke in some situations and a half choke in others.

The choke is there for a reason. Your pilot may be 1 or 2 sizes too big, IDK.............

You may have an air leak, you may also have an issue with the air screw and air screw o-ring.

it usally idles up anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or more it just does it very random. sometimes it will come back down to normal idle then shut off and some times it will idle ok. its just very weird..im trying to give the best description i can

You have junk in your idle/pilot circuit or an air leak.

If it does it for a "minute or more" I would lean more towards an air leak........

Check your intake boot...and clean your carb the best you can. Sounds like one of the two.

i already took the carb off and ran carb cleaner thrue the pilot jet. but yeah once i got it good and hot today to were it would idle. i let it sit there and idle for about 15 minute while i tinkered with my new 70 in the 15 mins about every 5 mins it would idle up but time was different every time ..id say it did it for about 15 second two of the times and about a minute or more the other..ill try and check my intake boot but would valve adjustment cause this?
