ID:	151328 how can i make this fly? any performance parts or mods that can make it a racer? want to get a dg chrome exhaust for it but im not a real believer in exhaust pipes making a difference in performance other than higher air flow. school me a little bit. willing to spend some cash.

Push it out of a plane or have Shortline build your motor. Those are two viable options.

Sell it and put the money towards a 3rd gen R.

Honestly you would probably have about the same money into each when you are done

i really wanna get a liquid R but around here i cant find one unless i drive hundreds of miles. id like to get some custom parts for the x before i see it go. ive been waiting to get my hands on one of these to get my creative juices back and this is what i ended up with, it was a pile of junk when i first got it. pretty proud of it as it sits. just not completely satisfied yet. but ill definately be looking into getting myself a 250r

Throw in a Wiseco 10.25:1 piston, a little bigger carb, aftermarket exhaust.......

If you do a search on 200X mods or something similar, you'll find lots of posts that cover exactly what you are looking for.

it's a normal 4-stroke. you just have to build it no different than you would a car. piston, porting, cam, exhaust, carb, upgraded coil, you know the drill.

you can even go crazy and do a XR200 swap with a 6speed and build that up, as well as stroked and much more. it comes down to how much you want to spend.
