Ive delt with G&H allot over the years and never any problems. Boring cylinders is textbook for any machinist. Most machine shops charge anywhere from 60-100 bucks for boring services around here plus gas and time dropping off and picking up. A piston is 50-75 bucks so it comes out about the same either way but for simplicity, one stop shopping. I say go for it.
Thanks flying. Thats what i was hoping for, my 200x smokes like crazy surprised it's not fouling plugs! haha
Dont forget to rework your head while your waiting for your cylinder. Clean it, lap the valves and install new valve stem seals.
I have looked at their site before, price wise its definitely something i would do, compared to local prices its cheaper. I don't have any experience with them, but at their prices i would definitely give them a shot if i needed to.

I was considering this place when I rebuilt my 350X. I decided to go to the local NAPA machine shop instead and ordered a piston kit. I wish I wouldn't have. After waiting a month, NAPA cost a lot more.
I've bought parts from G&H before but not services like this.
They're legit - ship fast. Good prices.
you would be surprised. Even a simple bore job is not so simple for the average shop if they are not setup for it... go with a shop that does it all the time, I guarantee better quality & price. That looks like the kinda place I would want to send my stuff to, give em a shot!
good people over there at g&h i bought fenders from them

It seems like the best way to do it, one stop.
Tell them not to bead blast the cylinder and save some money, I think it saved me 20$.
