    300ex trade for 250sx??

    i have a 04 honda 300ex with a few mods and i put it on craigslist to see if i would get any offers on 3 wheelers. well a guy is offering me a 250sx in kinda rough condition. just wondering if it was worth the trade and what kinda power do these things have? are they good for jumping or just putting around? i no they are driveshaft but still courious if its a good trade?

    The 04 should hold a higher value, especially if it's in rough shape. The 250sx is not good for jumping, but is good for pretty much any terrain, it has electric start, reverse, auto clutch. He should add cash.

    250sx's are a great bike for putting around, but they really were made for work guy. even though they were suposed to be the sport version of the 250es Big Red. however i agree with both gentalmens comments above i would only trade if it was in mint shape and also have the guy throw in around 2 to 4 hunderd bucks. if you want a good fourstroke trike to jump and just put around you need a 350x.

    The guys are right..a 250SX is a nice trike, but in most places only worth about 1/2 your 300ex..if it was a decent 350x I'd say that trade was pretty equal.

    250SX and he better bring some cash to the table..
