Dang it! I already have a bus trip to NYC planned this weekend! Let me know in the future. I'm south of Rochester, but can make it to Syracuse in about an hour and a half.... as long as I don't get stuck behind the plows in your area! Just a Freaksfix... took me 45min once I got off the Thruway to go like 7 miles to his house last weekend!

    Well... How was the ride?

Me, I decided that I would waste my day hunting(muzzleloader).
It was hard enough to find fresh tracks let alone any deer!!!
We had an inch or so of fresh snow and that didn't even help, might of even made things worse at least if there wasn't any snow we wouldn't have known for sure there wasn't any deer anywhere around us.lol

Oh well three more days to try.

    RIDE REPORT!!!!

Well No one showed!!! Freaksfix had a problem w/ his bros 250SX, they tried, but no go.
WE RODE ANYWAYS!! It was 22 out, cold as hell! 6 sportsmans, 1 eiger and me on the DR. Had alot of fun, 5 in of fresh new light snow. at spots the ice was thick enuff for the DR to stay on top, the 4X4s broke thru it. I did good till I got dared to cross a pond on top of the ice, I made it and as I celebrated by raising my left arm in the air I BROKE THRU. the front tire droped in about a foot and 1/2 and I went head over heals INTO the pond.COOLD AS HELL!!!!!!!! But I sucked it up and kept on w/ the ride, after about another 2 hours I came to a creek crossing... (Zim and Gman know how I feel about them) as I started to float down stream in the 3 foot of fast moving water, I hit a rock!! It put me UPSIDEDOWN in the creek!!!! COOLD AS HELL!!!!!!!!!! After that it started to get worse when the throtle was under water EVERYTHING FROZE. I rode it the whole way home by using the on/off to slow down, this is thru woods, and mud and snow. What a pain in the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro!!!!!!!
I will let everyone know when the next ride is. I hope more people show the next time, JUST to watch ME!!

I WOULD GO AGAIN TOMARROW IF EVERYTHING I OWN WAS NOT SO DAMN WET!!!!!!!!!

    Got to love winter riding

    NY Funfest

Really great riding in that area. Lots of small dunes, big woods, and miles of great trails. It wasnt unusual for me to put in 100 miles of trail riding in a day from Central Square to Camden up towards the Adirondaks, and from Cicero where I live to Fulton. Im totally down for a ride in the spring. I wont ride my Tecate but I have a 86 DR 200 dirtbike that needs an engine rebuild. I think it should be ready for spring if I can find a good lower end.

it wont be long now!!!I'll be ready to ride and have transportation for a couple trikes!!!YEEE HAAAA!!!

btw, anybody have access to portable torch and welder?
I need to fix a trailer axel it isnt square and it chews up new tires in 10 miles!!!All i need to do is "maybe" cut it off and weld it square with the tongue.
IF i can get it done i will have room for a extra trike to trikefest this year!!!
