Here's a shadetree method that works. A cheap blind hole bearing puller could be made from an off the shelf drop in anchor expanded within your ID and than hooked to a slide .

Pack grease into the cavity and then use a dowel and a . The hydraulic action will pop those suckers right out without having to pry on anything risking breakage.

I had that same thought but I'm pretty sure the grease would just slide right through the bearing.

I tried that before and it didn't work for me I ended up putting the case half on the grill for 20 minutes and they fell out but those bearing are like $30 so if I buy a puller now in the long run I will probably save money

I just spot welded a long bolt to the bearing that fit inside the bearing with the mig welder and popped it out. same bearing your talking about on the water pump. you need a new bearing anyway. it worked perfect for me.

ATCJeff told me to put them on the grill and they fall out!!!! Worked like a charm. To be honest I Just like owning tools. I got a case splitter (awesome BTW) clutch tool, pullers bla bla bla. I just like the ease of getting the correct tool and geting a job done. I did everything shady tree as a kid and made it work somehome but now that I can afford some of this stuff I like acquiring it. Hopefully my kids someday don't burry them in the yard like I did to my dad's tools. I'm starting ot realize why he got pissed when I would trash his shop lose his tools and then act oblivious..lol
