    86-87 honda big reds whats the difference ?

    just wondering what the differences are and if they perform better ?

    Basically the same machine but in 87 Honda redesigned the starter gear train assembly. The cover on the 87 is a tear drop shape as opposed to the oval shape for the 85-86. This redesign made the gear train more robust.
