'85 250r clutch actuator arm bearings

I'm gettin ready to do a crank job, gettin all the stuff I need. I know the clutch actuator arm bearings are toast. Bike Bandit has the seal and lower bearing, but says the top needle bearing is discontinued. Part number 12 on the following diagram.......http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmot.../o/m1909#sch12 Does anyone know where and what bearing to get? Acording to Bike Bandit it's a 10x17x10 needle bearing.

You will need a blind hole bearing puller to get the old ones out and installing the new ones can be tricky to install without messing them up. Perhaps Mosh will share his technique for installing them. I haven't replaced one yet but I'm thinking freezing them will shrink the bearing small enough so it drops in with little or no effort.

I only need the actuator arm bearings, already have all the engine tranny bearings. Kinda a last minute oh ya, what about those. The manual really doesn't cover replacing these. I'll ask a buddy that kows alot more than me, first time for saying that ever. Any helpful tips would be appreciated.

    This should help you..

The bottom smaller bearing rarely ever fails since it gets trans oil on it all the time, so if it is good I would leave it. The top one is the culprit usually from all the dirt that gets past the seal. I use a blind hole puller for the top bearing and a socket to tap the new one in. I have yet to find a blind hole adapter small enough to get the lower bearing out. The only way i could see getting that lower one out, is break the needles out with a pick, and adapt some tool like a straight edge tilting washer to catch the upper ridge and use a slide to pull it out.. much like an axle bearing puller for car rear diffs....Or a long dremmel bit, and carefully grind a slot in the race until it falls out..That would be a last ditch effort though. I am sure someone makes a blind hole puller to get down to that smaller size. I think that lower bearing is about 8mm.
