    What is the origin of the name "air fooler"? Anyone? I got the AIR part, but not sure what to make of FOOLER.

    oh yeah.. for those who don't know we have a website for 81-84 250r's air foolers(dot)com all one word... had to edit the post.. 3ww filtered it out.. whats up with that? but doesn't do any good cause the forum don't work right now.. but like my 81r was for 2 years. its down but not out.. it will return.. saul is doing a top end on the server right now it will be back up and running soon.. i hope....

    The term originated in our Irc chat by 86wateumper (Willie) as a derogatory/funny term for air cooler 250rs. I don't think I've ever seen the term used in any old magazines or anything. took it and somehow thought it was cool but it didn't start out that way...

    HAHA did somebody call the WAHHH-mbulance... I've heard used for all aircooled motors first time i heard it was for an old Yamaha we were learning to ride as kids.
