I'm curious to know why the '86 CDI is alot larger than the '85 CDI. Also, does the '86 CDI allow a few 100 more RPM or are they the same? -
(I thought I've heard that before-probably wrong).- Anyway, is the '86 better in any way? Does it have a secondary backup circuit or something?- There should be some explanation for the difference in size when everything else is really the same (yr. vs yr.). It must have been redesigned for a reason is what I'm saying- I Don't think the '85 is more faulty than the '86 right?? (I know about the plug being different). Does anyone know?Sorry, if its a dumb question.
