ID:	153271I just recently pulled my 85 250SX frame out from under my work bench and began cleaning it up and painting it. Then "it" happened. I rescued a brand new turbo package from hitting the dumpster. Didn't know what I was going to do with it at first, then a co-worker put the bug in my ear, "Put it on that 3-wheeler you are building." I thought about it, and I finally figured it out just a few minutes ago. If I completely remove the air box, I can mount it in that area. The exhaust weaves back into the frame at that point, and can exit there also. The air horn outlet would be aiming directly at the carb, and I can run a remote air filter to supply it. Have a TRX350 RH crankcase cover will built in oil cooler on my 250 now, so I can direct the oil feed line to the turbo, then from it to the oil cooler, then back to the engine. Comments?

LOL!!! As far as my quote, I plan on using a 300 cylinder and the TRX350 head I have. Now I have a turbo to bolt on also! Got disappointed today. It has an 86 250R forks going on it. Rebuilt the forks today, installed in the tree, they weren't lining up. Swapped forks around, even installed a spare fork I had. Same issue. Tree is tweaked dammit!!!! Now I need to find one.

That was my thought too. I feel like by the time you get it to spool you are going to be out of gear. It might be useful for WTFO open blasts in 5th gear, but other than, it is going to be pretty useless, in my opniion.

It's a small turbo package, but I probably won't be able to get the full potential out of it. I will have to tune the exhaust to make up for what the engine lacks. My newly revised plan is the continue with the 300 piston/cylinder, the 350 head w/ 2 int. 2 exh. valves, a reverse grind cam that is just a step above stock, a 350X carb, a 400EX head pipe modified to bolt into the turbo, and 1.5 or 2" exhaust exiting into a universal Supertrapp. The engine that this turbo went to is a small bore, but came in either a 4 to 6 cylinder package. It also didn't use a waste gate, so I am debating on whether to worry about one or not. Will have to get it all together and see just how much boost psi it will produce. My original thoughts are no more than 6-8 psi is wanted, don't want to blow the piston rings out or break the crank.

I just rebuilt the turbo on my truck with a new wheel that produces more spin at lower RPM maybe you can do the same with yours just change the compressor wheel.?
