250 big red speedo help

So I recently purchased an 86 big red that came with an Atc speedo and hondaline speedo kit. The problem I have is the speedo did not have the wiring harness attached to it...is there any way to find one or use a harness from another speedo? Also will the speedo work without the harness attached just the cable? I really don't care about lighting

The speedo is all mechanical drive. The wiring harness is for the light only. it will work just fine w/o wiring hooked up.
