since you'll be testing this one can we expect to see you with this at the next race? maybe a 70 showdown?lol
this caliper is stationary (the reason I used it)and is mounted to the frame. With the bracket I am making it will have a floating caliper, the rotor would also be slightly different. I am using a hand brake since the 70 has floor boards and because of clearance issues a foot brake really wouldn't work out. This trike could be at the next race but probably just to ride up to get coffee in the morning. This trike is just being built as a pit bike and to pull a small "trailer" around.

Why a floating caliper? What floats on the rear axle of a 70? I have 2 suspension 70s and nothing even floats on the rear of them! LOL My A+ has front and rear disc brakes thanks to my good buddy. I may even get the trike back from him some day! LOL

I just want to know who has experanced brake fade from their 70?
Now I believe it could happen...nature of the drum setup...but I've never put enough hard time on mine I guess.

It would be a nice upgrade, Ben.

There just doesnt seem to be enough interest to justify my time and money to put several together right now. I may put a kit together and throw it up on ebay to see what kind of interest there is out there.Attachment 153681
There is interest and I'll bet if your thread was worded differently or posted in the "new products" section it would get more attention. Your original post was asking if there was a kit avaiable already, not I have the answer to making a kit and will share if enough people ask. If others are anything like me, I doubt anyone wants to beat the details out of you. Either you want to offer a kit or share the info or you don't. Not trying to bust your balls or piss you off, you seem to be one of the better members here, but maybe go back to the top here and reread your post.

Thanks for the advice but I know what I wrote. I asked in that manner for two reasons: If it is already offered I don;t wanna step on anyones toes and second becuase I don't want to waste my time or money if it isn't something anyone wants. The only person who seemed to not understand the post was Brapp but that goes without saying HAHAHA. just messin with ya Brapp. As far as offering the info or putting out a kit? If I post up part numbers, modification to those parts, drawings for parts ect. You could expect to pay twice as much for a" kit "since that info would be quickly picked up by the atc 70 nazi's out west.
