which years for US90 colors?!?

i have a 72-73 fender and want to know if this 72-73 tank is supposed to match. this tank looks brighter orange than the fender? did they make two oranges or are these supposed to be a match and just faded different? i dont have the tank in my possession.

the fender looks redish orange. the fender is NOT as orange as my 74 but not as red as my 75. i cant tell if the tank is supposed to be 1974 orange or the same as my fender orangish-red?

im sure someone has asked this ? before. id like to get it straight in my mind once and for all!!
which year US90s were offered in which color? there was blue/yellow/parrot green/mighty green/orangish red/red/orange

1970/71 blue/parrot green/red/????

1972/73 mighty green/orangish red/?????

1974 - all orange with feather decal on tank
1975 - all red from here on out!

They are supposed to match. Not sure if the fender has been painted but the tank is faded for sure. I think the proper term for the reddish orange on the 72/73 is Tahiti or Tahitian Red?

You forgot the yellow on the 70/71 line up. I asked about proper paint names and codes years ago and got no answers back then.
Here's what I think I know:
70/71 - Bright Red, Aquarious Blue, Parrot Green, Sunshine Yellow
72/73 - Mighty Green, Tahitian or Tahiti Red
74 - Orange?

Fender does look to be repainted! Tank is just faded like coolpool said. Look in my pics. I have one of my 1973 in there. out of the five I have like that they are all lighter than the fender in the pic you posted.
