1985 Honda 350x for 750 bucks? good deal bad deal?

I duno if its just me or, if its the bike, but it dosent feel to have a lot of power. I have a carb rebuild kit and all now bearings and exaust on the way, it had the baffels taken out of the muffler thats on it now, so its almost like a straight pipe, will these bikes burn valves out easy if they have no back pressure?

That's a good deal around here, hard to find and owners usually want double what its worth. Last 350 I looked at was in much worse shape and the owner wouldn't budge lower than $1000. With a little work your bike has potential to be a great bike

Agreed, I scored my 350x last weekend and it needs some help (got mine for $500 too!) but see things are like tanks and seem to run forever. I wouldn't have spent the money otherwise
