What is a realistic top speed for the 84/85 Tecates bone stock?Or what speeds have you guys been getting with your modded tecates?

I have a friend with a modded blaster who wont shut his mouth talking trash about 3 wheelers and id like to shut him up lol
His tops out at 60.

He will shut his mouth when you pull in front of his Blaster and fill his helmet full of roost. IDK what mods this kid has on his Blaster but a T3 should mop the floor with him in a drag race.

I'm not a big fan of top speed runs anyways. All atvs handle like crap at those kinds of speeds unless build for that. Seems like alot of the deaths I hear on the radio with atvs have something to do with high speeds and on the roads. Just be carefull is what I'm saying.

I know guys.I always wear a helmet and don't typically drag but it would be nice to beat him once.
I've been riding my 200x since 95 so I am fairly comfortable on 3 wheelers.Just new to the Tecate scene and never ''modded'' any of my trikes.Just left them stock thats why im asking all these simple questions.

With the track we have setup in my woods we don't reach speeds more than 30.

Although I have zero Tecate experience, I'll go out on a limb and say going +1 on your drive sprocket should get you to 65 or so. If you want to be sure, go +2.. But you may have chain tension issues going +2.. Again, I have no experience with Tecates...But your Tecate will get there a WHOLE lot faster than any Blaster.

I know it's just advertising, but I remember looking at Blaster mods from Vitos, and they claim "up to 32hp" with their 240 big bore for the Blaster... And I would be willing to bet that calimed achieveable hp is accomplished with all the supporting mods. Not just slapping the bog bore on and running stock carb and pipe.....

Point being, you WILL spank that thing!! Or should I say, you BETTER spank that thing! LOL!

If you're not spanking him you have one lame Tecate there my friend. Rev her to the moon, show no mercy, and hold it wide open while you shift. Just shift fast. Touch the clutch, don't yank it all the way in.
