My front and rear lights stopped working on my 84 200s. Checked for continuity as the manual states from the yellow wire out of the stater to ground. Found zero continuity. Does it sound like the lighting coil is bad? Can it be replaced? Please help as I use this trike daily.

Teaching quads a lesson
It is bad. 150-400 is good. Its easier to replace the entire stator assy.

Time to open it up and replace it. There is sources for aftermarket ones but also have a look on ebay for a stock one as well.
