680 rincon won't change gear. limp mode?

can anyone tell me how to reset the computer when in limp mode on a Honda 680 rincon. replaced the bottom end and now won't shift

I don't really know much about limp mode on the rincons, but have you tried to unhook the battery overnight and reconnect to reset everything?


Can you manually shift via the push buttons in the manal shift mode (ESF switch or something like that on the left handle bar).

A repair manual might be needed to really look into it, I think my dad might have one, but it might be for the older model 650 rincon (he upgraded to a 680 a few years ago).

won't shift any kind of way. may be some other type of problem. not giving any code.

Check in the service manual to see if there are any trouble shooting tips. I just found this site yesterday for my TRX250X manual and has the 680 rincons as well
