Asking for a friend, didn't get much help searching..
Does a 1st gen 250r engine bolt directly into a 2nd gen chassis with no modification?? From what info I have found, it doesn't look as though the engines changed at all in '83 other than the carb.

As far as I know the length of the shifter shaft is the difference.
